Interview Role Play and Scoring System
The Interview Role-Play is a unique tool which is customized to your specific industry and type of sale. The candidate is given homework which entails learning a mock company and customizing a sales script. Positive Results does not train on or agree with the use of canned scripts; however, during the sales hiring process, we have found it to be one of the best methods to get to know a sales professional's style, ability, and skill level. The Role-Play allows the sales manager to evaluate the candidate's abilities in a real sales scenario. The role-play is audio taped for the manager to review and score later. The Scoring System to the role-play is computer based. Once the scenario is finished and the candidate has been debriefed, the manager tabulates their score point by point. The managers are trained how to score the role play consistently. The scoring is set up for ease of use and consistency within the company. Now managers in different departments will have the same guidelines by which to hire. |
